We have got big spiders in Norway too, but they are not dangerous. Size wise they might not be that large either, but these guys were big enough for my girlfriend. We discovered them under the stairs outside our house. While painting our house this weekend we moved the stairs in front of the house and below we found a few of these guys. My guesstimate is that the body (without the legs) was about 1-2 cm long. Including the legs it was about 5-8 centimeters in diameter. After checking out a few sites it seems that they are some kind of Liocranidae<\/a> (Norwegian<\/a>)<\/del> Updated: This is known as a dust spider<\/a> or dustbunny spider. Here are two Norwegian sitations: FHI<\/a> and edderkopper.net<\/a>.<\/p>\n
