I am not the only one that like to take photos. I have a few friends with the same interests as well, and in September last year a few of us\u00a0met up at Venabygd in order to satisfy our nerd genes. It was just the four of us and the dark night sky. I have been planning to share with all of you the photos we took that weekend, but due to laziness, general\u00a0procrastination and some things at work I never got around to it. That is, until now.<\/p>\n

I arrived a few hours before the other and played around taking photos, among else of Ringebu stave church. These photos have been processed using Nik Effects (Color Efex and Silver Efex)<\/p>\n

When all of us finally arrived we had a great time, doing all the stuff 4 computer nerds and engineers do when we can speak tech and play around with laptops, cameras, lenses, telescopes, tripods and other stuff. Harald<\/a> had brought along an AstroTrac<\/a>. Erlend<\/a>\u00a0had brought along his telescope. Some of the result you can see below.<\/p>\n

There are a few things I would like to point out. Th Pleiades is visible also on the photo taken of the night sky – to the east. It’s the group of stars down in the left corner of the photo. The Andromeda galaxy is visible in the top-fifth of the same photo, slightly to the left of the middle.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
