Mixing it up

Like most people I know, I work as a computer consultant and do a lot of different stuff, but this was new for me. Wednesday I tried my hand at photographing a few people for a press release.

I managed to take a few extra pictures down by the area we met up, a hip and modern part of Oslo called Tjuvholmen. I have converted them to black and white and increased the contrast a fair amount. I have also darkened the blue sky to make the scene a bit more interesting. What do you think?

The day before I joined up with Oslo Kamera Klubb again for an intro to creating small scale worlds. I am not fully satisfied with my result, so I will try this kind of photography again at a later date. Hopefully I will do a better job of it then. There are a few things I dislike with this picture. One of the most important ones is that the mouse is not fully in profile, and that there should have been more light below the mouse as well. I want a better silhouette next time. I am sorry to say that this probably is my best picture from this session though.
