I recently spent a week in Rome together with a group of other photographers and Morten Krogvold. As usual with workshops like this – there is a mix of education, taking photos and enjoying the surroundings. In Rome there is a lot to enjoy, especially if you care even slightly about art and history. Morten took us on a walk through some of the city and explained among else something about Italian Baroque architecture and about two of the most important architects/artists of that time: Bernini and Borromini. We experienced Italian cooking at its finest, and had a guided tour of some of the most important pieces in the Vatican museum.
